Chris and John (4creative’s ECD’s) tasked me with making the Paralympics as big a moment as possible. How could we generate excitement and anticipation from the launch of the TV spot, all the way up to the games 6 weeks later.

Superhuman Stories

We made a series of films for social media that went into more detail on the stories of the Paralympians and disabled talent featured in the television promo. The films went out on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, and All 4 picking up millions of views. Bartek’s story alone achieved a superhuman 5.4 million views on Facebook.

 

The most awarded advertising campaign of all time

The campaign has picked up tons of press coverage and award recognition including Cannes Lion, D&AD, Clios, Lovies, British Arrows, and Creative Circle to name but a few. We pricked up some Grand Prix’s for the digital/social and I’m told it’s the most awarded advertising campaign ever. So that’s pretty neat.
